Kathryn Guarini

Kathryn Guarini is a technology leader, board director, and educator with over 25 years of experience spanning research, product development, strategy, operations, and IT. She served as IBM’s global CIO, leading digital transformation with hybrid cloud and AI, and previously as COO of IBM Research. Kathryn serves on the Board of Directors at Regeneron and the Board of Trustees at NYSCI, is a Senior Fellow at Yale Engineering, and teaches at Yale SOM. She holds a PhD from Stanford and a BS from Yale, has over 65 patents and 60 publications, and founded Inspiring Innovation LLC to help organizations navigate disruption and lead with purpose.
